OPTION 1: Post your portfolio for free and link to any other of your websites at the following: and: http://www.portfolios.com/product_info/vinyl.html http://www.theartistswindowonline.com/ http://www.art-mine.com/artmine/InfoForArtists.aspx http://www.artistresource.org/artsweb.htm http://www.artanddesignonline.com/ http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk TIPS: ANY IMAGE DISPLAYED ON THE WEB SHOULD BE 72 OR 96 DPI IN SIZE !!!!!!!!!! DO NOT POST IMAGES THAT YOU COPIED FROM ANOTHER SOURCE, EVEN IF CHANGED A LITTLE.
Option 2: Create a free website at Yahoo!GeoCities or on AOL Hometown.
On Yahoo!: Join Yahoo for free. Then find and select the GeoCities link. Then select PageWizards. Then select Photo Page, it is in the right column. Now You can add up to 8 images per page and link multiple photo pages that you create by attaching links to photos. First you must build page one by uploading photos and text. Don't worry about adding links to the photos yet. Then name your first page. Name it "one." Then build a second, third, etc. Name them. Then you can go back and edit your pages and add links to your photos on page one to page two, three, etc. If your are having trouble making the links work, check to see if there is a single blank space inserted before your page number in the link address. This is a common problem. Also you may store images in albums at Yahoo!Photos so people can see your images full size. Link your albums to your website thru the photos. Sample Page.
On AOL: If you use "1 2 3 Publish" just choose a template and insert text, photos and links. Since you can only add one photo per page you can create a collage with mulitple photos first and then upload it or simply link several pages together with one photo or collage on each. If you use the more advanced web designer "Easy Designer" that is provided for PC users only then you can easily create any layout you want on a blank page without knowing any code or program.
TIPS: ANY IMAGE DISPLAYED ON THE WEB SHOULD BE 72 OR 96 DPI IN SIZE !!!!!!!!!! DO NOT POST IMAGES THAT YOU COPIED FROM ANOTHER SOURCE, EVEN IF CHANGED A LITTLE.
THEN: Submit your website to search engines like Google. http://www.google.com/addurl.html This can take about 6 weeks before search engines find your site.
